Surin Beach
This 800 metre beach has long attracted the rich, royal and famous. It's an excellent spot for sunbathing on fine and white sand, with the Andaman Sea stretching out before you. It's a popular beach with surfers during the southwest monsoon (May to Oct) but the sea is calm and great for swimming in high season.
Bangtao Beach Activities
On Bang Tao Beach, you have a vast 7 kilometers of beautiful white sands, which you can enjoy relaxing or take part in the many of activities the beach has to offer. Fishing trip on the local long tail boats, snorkeling in the clear ocean, jet skiing, parasailing, diving, horse riding and surfing to mention a few setting.
Koh Waeo
This small rocky outcrop is one of Surin/ Bang tao's best nearshore snorkeling spot. The coral encircling Koh Waeo, lying between 1 to 5 meters below the surface, is protected by national park status. With comparatively low visitor numbers, tropical fish populations are abundant.

Phi Phi and the Similan certainly stand out among them, but there are others closer to Phuket which are worth visiting. Flying Hanuman
Flying Hanuman is an exciting jungle adventure from tree to tree in a rare piece of Phuket's wilderness. It shows that the island's beauty goes far beyond the sea, sun and sand that it is famous for. The hillsides of Phuket overflow with thick forest that is great for exploration and outdoor activities.

Hidden Beaches
There are still secret, quiet and hidden beaches in Phuket and they are beautiful. Some of them are difficult to find, but surprisingly many are in plain sight and easy to access. Nui beach, Rayee beach, Hua beach, Sai Kaew beach, Ao Sane beach, to name a few. The "Hidden Beaches" are each absolute gems in their own way, and they are all worth a visit.

It's the island's first duty-free complex in Phuket. It claims to be home to more than 100 luxury brands, touting its modern, iconic design as an accurate reflection of the charming traditions of southern Thailand.
Explore the many Night Markets
Phuket has a lot of night markets, but on any day of the week, the line between a night market and a night bazaar is relatively thin. Some markets only open during the weekend, and some during the weekdays. The Sunday Walking Street Market on the old Thalang road of Phuket Town is the most creative.
Big Buddha
This huge Buddha is one of the most famous landmarks in all of Phuket, sitting at the top of the Nakkerd Hills and standing at forty five meters tall it is very difficult to miss. From the top of the hill you are able to get a panoramic view of the island.
Wat Chalong Temple
Wat Chalong is one of Phuket's most important temples and is visited by thousands each year. It's beautifully decorated, with infinite reflections from hundreds of thy glittering glass pieces on its many pagodas. There are an impressive number of them dotted around the island, several of which are home to impressive Buddha statues. Each has its own particular charms and remarkable features, making them worth seeking out and exploring.
Phuket Viewpoints
There are many viewpoints on both the east and west coasts of Phuket. Whether it's a sunset-watching spot, a 360-degree panorama of the south of the island, a vista from the top of Phuket Town or a glimpse of swathes of tropical lushness, it's all within your grasp in minutes.
Golfing
Phuket is a world-class golf destination, with eight courses offering unique play, stunning landscapes and challenging play for beginner and experienced golfers.
Samet Nangchee Viewpoint
Samet Nangshe Viewpoint offers stunning 180-degree view overlooking Phang Nga Bay and its hundreds of fantastic limestone formations and small islands.
Plane landing spot
One end of the Phuket Airport runway is just meters away from the beach, making it a perfect spot for a plane-selfie.

Admire a spectacular jungle flora and fauna in the green heart of Phuket's only virgin rainforest.
Mangrove Tree Boat Tour
You should try a kayak trip along Phang Nga Canal to see many of the mangroves' inhabitants, including snakes, birds, and macaques.
